How the System Works

The system operates as shown in the following diagram.

As the diagram shows, xView is built around a Data Table & Communication Manager, which connects to the drivers for powermeters, I/O modules, PLCs and other devices, and to a Plug-In Manager for attaching external plug-in modules. Alongside it run the Real Time Monitor Manager, the Alarm & Data Logger Manager, DDE/NetDDE & TCP/IP communication and the Database Service, which together process the data and present it to the user.
